Palm Beach
This resort is set in Lhaviyani resort and is located 80 miles north of the Capital of Male. Palm beach is another of Maldives lavish five star resorts and guests fly in from sea-plane (40 minutes from Male International Airport).
Palm Beach has a total of one hundred rooms - 55 deluxe, 25 deluxe superior and 20 villas.
Guests can choose from a wide range of restaurants and bars - in fact four restaurants and two bars.
Palm Beach offers a good range of resort facilities including tennis, squash, swimming (pool), beach soccer, volleyball, kite surfing, pool and several water activities. There are also excellent diving facilities with a multitude of diving courses available to guests.
Paradise Island Resort and Spa
Paradise Island is a five star resort that is set in North Male Atoll and an hours speedboat ride from the airport.
There are a total of 30 rooms split into superior deluxe and water bungalows. Guests can choose from a variety of restaurants for their dining choices and the entertainment is highly regarded with many activities including disco, karaoke, live music, crab racing and more.
Paradise Island also offers a wide range of excursions - aside from many of the standard Maldivian favourites, the resort also offers submarine excursions, water safaris, photo flights and glass bottom boat riding. There are also impressive facilities for water and land based sports.
Ranveli Village & Spa Maldives
A 30 minute sea-plane ride from Male is the four star Ranveli Village & Spa. The resort offers 56 rooms and a wide range of activities including diving facilities, spa, and some land based sports such as table tennis.
Reethi Beach Resort Maldives
Reethi is a four star Maldives resort that is set in the Baa Atoll. It’s a 30 minute transfer via Seaplane from Male.
There are 100 rooms that are divided into villas, deluxe villas and water villas. The resort has a good offering of dining, excursions and typical water-sports/diving options.
